Example of services

REPAIRING PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARDS IS ONE OF OUR NUMEROUS SERVICES, SOME EXAMPLES OF WHICH ARE GIVEN BELOW.

E-NERGIE SERVICE PLUS-POINTS

Your electronic board repairs are performed in a workshop backed by a design office. As a last resort, we sometimes manufacture replacement electronic boards, keeping your equipment alive for many years!

  • Small breakdowns: We repair your out-of-service fuses or defective chemical capacitors.
  • More complex electronic boards : We work on sneaky failures and in the most critical situations. These repairs require specific skills and means.

Repair of complex electronic board : An axis board

Problem/Failure: This type of board requires the use of a test bench to be able to repair it without schematic. To avoid the stress of desoldering and then soldering, the components are connected in-situ using clamps suitable for the SMD package.
If the failure comes from the power supply, the failure of a capacitor has caused the cascade destruction of several diodes and zeners. The repair leads to the disassociation of the printed circuit from the heatsink.

The presence of burnt diodes under the switching power supply transformer requires its desoldering. This operation requires specialized tooling to remove the transformer without damaging the metalized tracks and vias.

Result of the intervention: The machine on which this board is located is today back in production, after a few days of shutdowns.

Repair of obsolete equipment : Power supply GS-R424

Problem/Failure: An electronic board on which is installed a GSG-R424 module, a common ground, devolving switching voltage converter. The module accepts a maximum DC voltage of 46 volts as input and delivers a maximum DC voltage of 24 volts at 4 amps as output. Hybrid, it consists of electronic components mounted on a printed circuit and molded in a resin inside an aluminum case. This inclusion in the resin does not allow its troubleshooting.

As this module is no longer manufactured, it is qualified as obsolete. The cost of supply being unjustified in relation to the functions of the module, we proposed an alternative solution to our client.

  • State of the art survey
  • Choosing a technology and components
  • Calculating and creating a schema
  • Drawing the circuit board using CAD

Result of the intervention: The use of modern components in SMD packages produces a much smaller module with equivalent functionality. The pinout is strictly compatible and allows mounting on the original board without modification.
